The link between what people ingest in the form of entertainment, via books, Television/Movies, and games is a well established causal force in the behavior people manifest. It is only logical...

When people watch porn, it makes them want to act out what they see (which most of the time they cant so they whack off, waiting for that rare opportunity when they can actually do the acts they have seen with a real live chick...) After watching a LOT of porn, however, much like booze or drugs, they lose the effect....the need to ACTUALLY act out the things seen becomes stronger, as that is the next 'step up/down'...since most Porn fans couldnt get laid to save their life, and dont have the money to buy a hooker and tip her to the extent that she will allow bareback anal sex with her cumfarting onto a 120 year old antique mirror, they do what is logical to fulfill this (hannibal lechter voiceover) "need that they now serve"....
