ok, lets do the math.

doing an iafd search for tommy's 1985 scenes he shows up in 126 movies for that year. now iafd is known for missing movies on occasion and tom did multiple scenes per movie in some of those, but i will err on the low end and say that he did 126 scenes, meaning he performed 2.42 times a week during that year, more than the number you think would be safe and are recommending. in 1988 he did 150 movies working out to at least 3 scenes a week. none of this is counting photo shoots etc.

So, still, if you make the talent pool smaller they will work more often. Even if you drop down to a few companies. You tell that small talent pool they can only work every two week you effectively kill the business.

You flunk math, Rob, it won't kill the business. When the pool was smaller, the talent had other jobs besides on camera work. Making the talent pool smaller will weed out the people who only want to shoot scenes to make a living. The quality of talent was very different when there was less shooting, for example the girls had much fitter type bodies and were prettier, because they danced, escorted, did bachelor parties or held some other job outside of porn.

Rob, I liked you when you were here and I like you now. It's great that you can rattle off facts and hypothesize, but you'd be much better off putting that effort towards school. You've gotten off the meds, lost weight, etc.. move on and put your energy towards your new life.
