You both have valid points. What urks me is the fact that people within the industry, as well as consumers of porn are slitting their own throats with those kind of posts. I'm a hardcore Dem, by its strictest definition, but know full well that both parties will fuck over anybody to win. Party regardless, we let it happen. And the start of this thread is a perfect example. Using and looking for angles, such as raising the age, or pushing your own personal views/definitions to justify its acceptance evades the fact that the industry would be better served by just simply demanding it as part of our culture.
Can you discuss porn freely in public? Yeah, everything has a time/place, but travel abroad where it's openly accepted, you'll know what I'm getting at. I don't go around pushing porn, but I do raise the topic every now and then as a serious topic of discussion. And, sometimes, it gets people thinking to where over time they feel more open to bring it up themselves. What's important to remember is, no matter how strongly you feel, for or against, try to remember that everyone has different likes/dislikes, and that we should respect and promote that. Not everyone like Dali. Once you start pushing your reservations/beliefs onto others, that when trouble starts. And ends.
