I have to say that I've frequented 3 clubs in the NY area and each has its distinctive ambiance.

The one near WTC called the Doll House or NY Dolls (I haven't been there since 9/11 so it might be gone) which was very much geared to the active business man. Used to have 2 for 1 drinks and free lunch buffet - The food was very good actually. And, I liked the "little titty-ed" lunch dancers - the plastic ones come out after 7. It had no smell I could recall. But, all the men behaved well OR ELSE! The women were usually quite snobby - only can put $1s in the garters.

At PUMPS in Brooklyn, it smelled of cigarette, the local garbage, a bit of grease with a slight aftersmell of vomit. It's very small and narrow. And almost anything goes. The girls would take $1s with their titties. When they're done they were very friendly and chatty. I actually had one of them BUY ME a drink once! They were average looking girls but full of personality. If a girl was being annoyed, the other patrons usually got more pissed than security about it.

In Jersey, its very "mob" run with thick cigarette/cigar clouds. In places they don't dance topless but unhook their tops and really give you a good "feel" when you give the $1 titty tip. But, the guys running the place aren't too happy if you don't pay for a lapdance. I've only had 1 in my life. I find it degrading. So I'm not very popular with security, so I haven't been to a Jersey club since 1988.
