A Morrison woman was charged with child abuse and neglect after doctors found methamphetamine in her sick child's system.

Thirty-eight-year-old Helen Bonner took her 21-month-old son to a hospital emergency room after his baby sitter said he was sick last week.

Bonner submitted to a drug test and tested positive for meth. She told authorities she did not know how the child came in contact with the illegal drug.
