No, I think the problem was that the CDC was forced to add the paragraph about abstinence everywhere. The missing data is probably just a reorganization between where the research data and where the Information for Mere Mortals is stored. I can't read the research papers so I'd need to find good abstracts.

It's is technically true - abstinence and Just Say No to Drugs is an excellent way to stay HIV-. But hey, even Asscroft's mom couldn't stick with abstinence so why hope everyone else will?
