Here's a really good tip for the porn companies in LA.

Get together, hold a meeting, and hire yourselves a lawyer.

You're going to need a lobbyist with connections in Washington, and Sacramento.

You're going to need a lawyer familiar with import taxes, and teriffs. Maybe even someone from the auto industry, who has experience.

You're also going to need someone to negotiate with OSHA.

Not just Cal-OSHA, but Federal OSHA.

Pool your money together and hire yourselves a guy who can lobby Federal OSHA to get the Mandatory Condom Use passed in all 50 states, at the same time.

In other words, you can't have Mandatory Condom Use in porn ONLY in California, that would screw everything up for you.

The law must pass in all 50 states at the same time, so your business is not adversely affected.

If the lawyer you hire can get the new law passed in all 50 states at the same time that Cal-OSAH steps in, it will be illegal for ANYONE to shoot porn in America without a condom. That would be GOOD for your business, as the playing field would be level.

The level playing field arguement is on the court dockets going back to the importation of Japanese cars in the 80's. Plenty of precedence there, folks.

With the passage of import taxes and teriffs, the cost of cheap labor in foreign countries will be offset, and your product will still sell better, since it will be cheaper.

You can all sit around and bitch and moan about what this latest scare has done to the industry, or you can take the bull by the horns and work quickly to prevent disaster.

Hold a meeting, and pool your money together to hire a lawyer.

A porn lawyer/lobbyist.

Wow.
