I think this legal dispute arose from Mary trying to copyright or trademark her name, "Mary Carey". For whatever reason Mariah didn't want to let that happen, so legal action followed. Why the fuck does Mary want to copyright/trademark her name anyway? It's not like she does any fucking movies that matter.
