It's one of two things:

1. An element of this country is manipulating the entire intelligence community and its analysis for their own agenda.

2. Our intelligence community is incompetent and its analysis isn't worth shit.

The second is possible to determine thru hearings. So let's HAVE THEM. It could be that those who fucked up are trying to cloud their blame with partisan nonsense.

The German army blamed the politicians for WWI when it was their bold pronouncements and inaccurate assessments that led to the stalemate.

If it's not blatant incompetence, we have to find out who is behind the first. Who is skewing our analysis and WHY??
