mr. 69, you point out no deaths in mma. it's true. but eventually someone is going to die. it's an inevitability, no matter how well run the shows are. it's a violent sport, and no matter how many precautions are taken, accidents happen. what is worrisome, though, is that with the explosion in popularity of mma, more and more people are looking to cash in. this leads to more and more shows put on by more and more people who are only concerned about making a buck, and who might cut corners or even put guys in there who shouldn't be. for a sport that is just now gaining acceptance as more than simply a freakshow, this could be devastating.

and of course mma is gay. all sports have some level of homoerotic undertones. two barely clothed men riding each other while an arena full of other men cheer them on is just a little more up front about it than most. it doesn't matter.
