Assumptions have been that this HIV outbreak started with Darren James. But who's to say he didn't get it from Lara Rox?
Have they gone backwards at all to search or are they just going forward?

OK now....I read this thread this morning and went and looked at every smut news website I could think of and I noticed that no one seems to have come forward with Roxxx's test from her shoot with James in Canada. Am I looking in the wrong places or has no one else found this important? Is there any documentation that she was not HIV+ when she worked with him in Canada?
Sorry if this is repetitive but AIM does seem to have jumped to the conclusion that the outbreak originated with James a bit prematurely.
And not to feed the trolls but I am not of the opinion that someone deserves this because they were "stupid enough" to get into the industry. This outbreak is an unfortunate fact of life that has happened before and will presumably happen again in the porn industry. People will look for someone to blame because when they can place blame on someone they feel that they have determined the cause of this tragedy. When we have determined the cause we can keep it from happening again and we will all be safe and live happily ever after.........right?
Shit happens. This is real life.
However, because of this shit people are probably going to die, most likely before their time. Roxx may not live happily ever after, nor will James or any of the other performers who may come up positive. And it is for that reason that many of us have expressed sorry, condolences, or offered support. Last time I checked, this kind of basic expression of warmth and kindness was a simple act of human decency-an act of which we are all capable and an act which is generally appreciated by the souls on the receiving end.
So, troll, if you still have difficulty relating to those of use who have expressed support for Roxx, James, or anyone else why don't you get off the internet, trot over to the next room and ask your mother for more lessons on compassion?

what is known is that Lara Roxx worked with darren in canada BEFORE his trip to brazil, and i have heard from MANY sources that she was going to companies here bringing only an ELISA test, not a PCR test from AIM.
hence, why she didnt work much.

Duke, I think the thrust of what MrPoo and others who've met Lara are saying is that it is NOT a good assumption that Lara is cleaner and safer than the Brazilian girls. Maybe she is and maybe she isn't. If she hooks on the side then I doubt she is any safer.

Darren might have tested HIV+ first for no other reason that he was the first to take his test: had Darren done his tests at the usual four week interval instead of three maybe Lara would have tested HIV+ first and Darren would have been first generation, and the focus might be on the stupidity of importing foreign hookers to perform.

actually, in speaking with AIM today they have said looking at the viral loads it would be impossible to tell who got it first.... HOWEVER, Lara and Patrice were BOTH using ELISA tests from canada. Patrice was using one as recently as monday.....
i know other things, but i dont if you know what i mean.

so do QUEST DIAGNOSTICS have 2 diffrent type of hiv testing? because i am from another state and when i get tested that where they send my blood work. isn't that the same place where aim sends their blood tests

yes they do havetwo different types, but no. quest is not where AIM sneds the tests.the lab where aim does send its tests however was awarded by Roche (the company that invented the PCR test) for its advancement in PCR tachnology.
