That's what the statistics say. In the US if you aren't gay and don't shoot up drugs, and avoid sex with gays and addicts, the odds are low you'll get HIV.

That's changing but it's hard to ignore the numbers. The bias in infection rates has been shrinking and will eventually go away, but it has not yet. As I said, I don't think the statistics work that way anywhere else in the world.
