Hey Gen and any other porn stars here? You must know just about everyone in the porn industry - it doesn't seem that big. Especially if you all get your hiv tests done in the one place. Is it a friendly industry? Do you all hang out together and socialize outside of work? Or does everyone pretty much keep to themselves?

Being a fan of porn for the last eight years(and very proud that I am one,and a second generation one,at that,as well),I can easily tell you that fans and porn stars do hang out together at porn conventions,feature dance appearances,and fetish parties,and act very friendly and platonic throughout their attire,as well as regularly e-mail each other on a timely basis.
From what i know,the current generation(with the exception of the younger performers)mainly stay at home and only attend event parties whenever they happen,but otherwise no swinging sex-filled life like that which happened in the late 70s,80s,and early 90s.

When it comes to public events such as conventions, talent in the industry tend to bond together better than any other time. I guess it's a comfort thing.

But we're all pretty familiar with each other, sometimes we dont know names but we k now faces and still acknowledge each other.

As far as hanging out and being friends, I can't really speak for anyone but myself but I truly don't hang out with anyone in the industry. Even when I've gone to few conventions, I never found myself hanging out with talent. I'm a happy loner and like to do my own thing alone and when I am around others its with older people who's partying days are over. Call me boring.

I'll do admit to public dancing for the first time other than stripping at the venetian in January during the AVn convention with Wankus. He pulled the fear righ tout of me and had a blast. And that was the only highlight of my week there other than talking to fans.

There is a huge number of people especially the young generation that are still exploring their days of fun partying, dri nking, drugs and all that cool stuff which is fine but I rather stay at home with my cats, take a bath, go swimming, paint, fuck around. You know, the boring stuff LOL

I think I'm just not the right person to ask that.

Oh! I did go to Sardo's a few times but once it became a little too popular, a bunch of weirdos started show ing up and I didn't feel comfortable being starred at and I think it's because im always the shortest one there and that tends to stand out amonst a tall crowd. Call me crazy. haha

You need more intellectual people to hang out with Gen! I don't know if any of the male performers seem that smart. How about Keiko and Mika Tan and Maja Lee? Do girls get on or is there bitchiness?

Keiko and Rob are the only ones as far as talent my age that i've been able to really hold a conversation and not only that they're down right nasty and fun to talk to.

I met Mika Tan once at Sardo's she was adorable but never got to talk to her much. But there isn't a single person that does know her doubts her intelligence.

There's a little bitchiness from what I've seen but it isn't too bad. I think more of the bitchiness happens between talent and directors/producers.

as for us, we hang out with some people... usually mostly people within the ksex/sardos group. i tend to be a very social person.... while Kei will say openly that shes "not the best socialist sometimes" (lol)
