"Tightfit to Release Israeli Porn Series

CHATSWORTH, Calif. - Tightfit Productions is set to release Assraelis, the first in a series of adult features that are entirely shot and cast in Israel. This will mark the first time a production company has released and distributed Israeli porn in the United States.

Tightfit owner Oren Cohen told AVN.com that the series started when he met Israeli director Ilay Kimchi in Berlin in October. “He showed me some of the stuff on his laptop, and this guy was a real filmmaker and very smart kid. The production quality and value of it is really beautiful and warm…it has a real light-hearted feeling to it that I think porn in America has lost. It reminds of the stuff that VCX or Arrow shot in 70’s in a lot of ways.”

“[Ilay] said he had only distributed it locally, in Israel, and he was looking for an outlet for it…and I thought it was a perfect match. So we signed a deal and will have upcoming titles from him, as well.”

“Outside of the novelty of it being the first domestically released Israeli porn movie,” Cohen continued, “even if you took that away, I think it would stand on its own and get five-star reviews.”

Cohen explained that the title, which utilizes all Israeli talent, is shot in Hebrew, with English sub-titles. He added that Tightfit looks to release the title at the AVN Adult Entertainment Expo in Las Vegas this January.

“The women in it are gorgeous,” added Cohen. “The feeling of it is very unique…it’s a visceral thing. It reminds of what porn used to be.”
