When I died, I found something out.

I found out that there really is a God, and that God really does listen, and that God really does give a shit.

Yes, I died.

It was the best thing that ever happened to me.

I have made so many mistakes. I still do. I am most often a complete dumbass who can't remember where he put his car keys. My wife happens to be organized, thank the Lord, and helps me out whenever my brain fails me.

But one thing I learned from my death experience is this:

THE ONLY THING THAT MATTERS IS WHAT YOU DO RIGHT NOW.

It's an important time in the adult industry.

You can cover up. You can rail at TT Boy for shooting in Brazil. You can blame Sharon Mitchell. You can be angry at the craze for anal sex. You can say 'Condoms Won't Work! The viewers won't buy our Products!'

All of these things you can say are WRONG.

What you CAN say, is that you've learned from this growing tragedy, and that you'll do better next time.

That's what I want to hear.

That's what America wants to hear.

America is very, very forgiving of people who admit they were 'learning', and who want to do better.

America IS NOT very forgiving of people who place blame, and say they had no part in the tragedy.

When you talk to the media, the importance should be on LEARNING, not on BLAMING.

Yes, there were few like me, who could withstand all the hate and anger that got thrown my way.

But I'm not asking for credit.

Instead, YOU take the ideas, and run with them.

YOU take the lessons learned, and make change.

If you've only got a limited amount of time left on this earth, darling, I think the BEST you can do with it is to IMPROVE THE LIVES OF OTHERS.

Does that mean saying things that people hate you for?

Yes, it does.

Does that mean saying things that aren't popular?

Yes, it does.

There's a God up there, Gen.

Trust me about that.

And that God ain't interested in excuses.

That God is interested in Growth.

God loves porn people just as much as He loves people who go to church. He loves Gays, and Lesbians, and Bisexuals too.

What God doesn't like is people who see a problem...

...and don't do anything about it.

It's your time to shine, if you want to shine, Gen.

Let's see you use that brain now, in a time of crisis, to bring about real change.

I know you've got it in you.

All it takes is GUTS.
