It appears to me that if AIM has the right license, which they probaby do to draw blood, they could send someone out to the shoot, collect a sample, take it back to AIM, and phone back the results.

That's no substitute for regular testing. But I imagine it might be be useful if some idiot shows up at a shoot with a stale test and the other talent says no way, or the guys start bragging about their recent shoot in Thailand and the girls freak out. There may be cases where it's cheaper to go through the hassle than can the scene.
