Kinda sucks some of the humor out for me, but not completely. Sorta feels like when I heard that Andy Milaknockis(I don't know exactly how to spell it and am too lazy to look it up right now) kid was about thirty, so really he wasn't a kid at all. Not as funny anymore.

Sorry if i came across like a wiseacre. Anyway, the story is funny and it's hilarious listening to the radio announcer bursting into laughter as he attempts to read the story.
No problem. I check all that kind of stuff against snopes.
The announcer is a old fart named Robert D. Raiford, who was a news anchor in Charlotte until they decided he was too old and too stubborn so he got shit-canned 20 yrs ago. "John Boy & Billy" hired him and he became more popular than ever. Really a cool old fart. John Boy & Billy are pretty lame radio but Robert D. Raiford is funny as hell. He has to be at least 80 by now.
