"The US and A urged a reluctant Russia and China on Tuesday to agree quickly on a sanctions plan against Tehran and its nuclear program as officials from six World Powers sought a breakthrough on the matter at talks in Paris, France.
Iranian President Ahmadinejad warned Britain, France, and Germany that he would consider it an act of "enmity" against Iran were they to participate in blocking its nuclear program, which he insisted is solely for generating electricity and is in no way shape or form involved in the manufacturing of weapons of mass destruction.
US and A Underseceratary of State Nick Burns said he did not expect a Paris deal but called upon Baijing and Moscow to step it up a notch in their support of US and A efforts to block Iranium enrichment."
