If Sasha started off only doing g/g, then she'd be like every other chick in the biz. Her platform is the fact that she wants to push boundaries, she wants to challenge the general public's idea of what a pornstar is. She came raging out of the starting box, and that's what has gotten her so much attention. If she started off only doing g/g like so many others, we wouldn't be talking about her right now. You're missing the point, my friends.

Sorry, don't agree with you on this one Holly...if your pal Aria (or similar holdouts such as Sunny Leone, Kelle Marie, Jana Cova etc.) decided she was going to jump into the b/g market, I think it would sell a damn sight more than your average Sasha Grey DVD. I'm a big believer in slow but steady wins the race, and for me (whilst I admittedly find her cute), Sasha has already blown her wad...as the saying goes, 'the candle that burns twice as bright burns half as long', and I don't see Sasha having anything like the sort of career longevity a Jenna Jameson or Stormy or Tera Patrick have.

Yes, she's got some hype surrounding her now, but the proof of the pudding will be in the eating, i.e. whether said hype will translate into not only sales but sustained sales. For me, she's just another gonzo chick...whilst I find her attractive, her inclusion in (or exclusion from) the cast of a movie wouldn't make or break the deal for me one little bit.

Just my $0.02...
