Just got back from seeing Hellboy and it sucked. While relying on entirely special effects the story was so thin it disappeared and maybe things make more sense if you follow the comic book series this is based on. I always thought the actor (Ron Perlman) who played Hellboy looks uncannily like an ape, so I guess it's what helped him get the role. So I heavily stress to avoid or wait til it's on video if you're still curious...
