Ok, two quick pieces of advice, first, ditch the yahoo email and spring the 15 bucks for your own domain and email, you do not need to have the site up to have your own email, this way instead of cluelesspornguyinmidwest@yahoo.com, you can be producer@pornguyinmidwest.com. You would be amazed at what such a small amount of money can do for your image.

Second, you don't really have to tell anyone you are such a newbie. Here is what i did, I flew down to FL which is cheaper and easier then flying to LA from NY, and I shot girls who were local to FL, which there are a few of. After we were done and wrapped, while we were sitting there bullshiting, I informed the girls that it was my first shoot, and they didn't believe it.

It is all about being professional, putting out that vibe and attitude. Think about what you want to shoot, and just articulate yourself when calling or emailing to establish contact, do not call or email and act like all the clueless or ghetto wanabes that these girls deal with every day. That phone number you are going to give the models or email them, does that have some dumbass music or stupid thug voicemail message? Stuff like that, imagine you are working in a real legit, prestigious profession, that is how you should conduct yourself. Do that and you will line up a shoot pretty easily, and all you need is one shoot with a reasonably well known girl that you can use as a reference going forward.
