careful manipulation of the popular media is all that's required today for a career in entertainment- the old adage of any publicity being good publicity still holds true, with the added bonus of there being a lot more avenues of media available to exploit. look at paris or kfed, universally hated and made fun of in both the mainstream and underground media as well as the internet, yet it only causes to increase their notoriety. this avenue to fame is decreasing in america due to the already high level of attention whores, however fly to britain and due to the inherant social conservatism due to centuries of classism and it becomes easier to stand out and be noticed. similar to a scab, the only way to defeat these people is to ignore them- scratching the itch by calling paris a whore only increases her "fame".

So very, very true Eddie...I live in Britain and hardly watch TV anymore due to the incessant flow of 'Celebrity Reality Shows' featuring non-entities whose only claim to fame is having slept with someone famous.

Having said that, I'd pay to see Celebrity Bukkake (of either variety) or Celebrity Ultimate Fighter.
