i agree with you to a certain extent; clearly there are a lot of people on xpt acting out personal insecurities, it makes being rejected by females all your life more palatable if you can come here and post "look at that fat whore! ahaha". however, those people are easy to spot and soon you don't even read their posts.

mob mentality is also true, i've posted before that it seems like some people try to be meaner than they actually are to fit in.

either way, xpt is about sorting the informative, interesting, humorous and other qualities unique to this board from the irrelevant drivel, of which there is a lot.

most people in xpt are not in the industry, and i think a lot of xpt posters are nowhere near as dysfunctional as you portray, it's just interesting to learn about a world so different from their own whilst letting off steam in a forum which allows it.
