Jeff's drunk, has read one too many Phlogiston posts and made a hasty declaration.
Scenario 2:
Jeff's sober, XPT has fallen afoul of the dubious "secondary producer" regulations that had Steph and Drew quaking in their boots, and Jeff would rather kill it than neuter it.

Wait! No! XPT has truly meant everything to me the past years I've lurked and finally joined. This can't be happening...is there some way to sell it to someone and have them take the blame? Seriously, I've been too busy to post lately but this is an urgent matter. You all have become more than just fans. You've become my friends and have made a diffference in my life. Where am I gonna go now...Gfy? I don't even know what they're talking about on that board enough to contribute. My friend says that's ok since no one there knows what they're talking about, so go ahead. I'm not even gia jordan anymore, but XPT will always have my heart. I'm still picturing Jeff waking up at noon with a hangover and laughing at all the replies. Having said that, it's a real possibility that this place could get caught in the crossfire of the 2257 bullshit, and Jeff obviously has enough on his plate already. So it pays to think ahead...

This is definately the right line of thought. The way to do it would be to off-shore it out of 2257 jurisdiction completely. Like here in good old Blighty.
