I realize this might be a touchy subject because everyone has their own secret motivational techniques, but does anyone want to share what they've tried to get a little extra out of the kids on game-days?
It hasn't been easy, but with the cooperation of our parents we now have our entire roster on "anti-inflammatory" drug therapy. It was difficult but most parents realize the importance of placing their sons in a position to compete.
We noticed (and enjoyed) the boost of muscle mass and agression but that has predictably faded. I assume that's because our opponents came "on-line".
Lately we have been mixing red bull with powerade but I am encouraged by the new coke product coming out. Has anyone tried mixing powdered Vivarin in the water keg? I use it regularly but find the boys don't drink enough during the game to have an impact.
Another techinique we have tried with tremendous success are nicotine patches. I have purchased the generic 21mg patches from walmart, cut them into fourths, and applied them to our players arms to great effect.

Be very careful when selecting the syrup. Check the ingredients list thoroughly, you're looking for an active ingredient of Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide and nothing else. Some have reported good results with Dextromethorphan Polystirex (found in "Delsym" brand), but this is a powerful variant that I wouldn't recommend. Also be aware to avoid anything containing ephedrine decongestant, or you'll be under suspicion of running a meth lab.
Best bet is "Robitussin Maximum Strength" which contains 15mg per teaspoon. Experiment with doses between 5-8 teaspoons, you should find a sweet spot that gives the edge you're looking for.

The Dad that posted the Hooters joke must have gotten caught by his wife, because he deleted his post.
Before they deleted the thread there was lot of "that's not funny" posts.
I should feel bad because, as much as those folks complained about it, there will be some soccer team somewhere getting stoned this weekend on nicotine patches and cough syrup.
