Status Quo!
The world series really doesn't mean anything, the only real contest in post season baseball is the NLCS. The american league is basically for tourists. They have'nt played real baseball in the AL since they added the DH rule. In a sense any AL game or function is simply an exhibition with about as much meaning and plastic appeal as the "world baseball classic". Just my grumpy 2 bits.
