well, if my memory serves me at all, bushmaster had to cough up like half a mil a few years ago for selling guns to a gun shop that kept randomly losing their inventory after it became obvious they were going to trial. only a big deal because they were the first manufacturer to pay a settlement. no problem with the nitpick, they technically didn't lose in court, you're absolutely right about that. it's just they were forced to settle and they seem to cough up more legal fees like the trademark shit with colt than your average bear. obviously they sell a lot of guns, i'm just amazed someone decided there was a bright future in the assault-rifle business with brady-hysteria having that company at about the top of their shitlist.
