I went with funny because:

a) It seemed to slide in way too easily, as mentioned before.
b) The scream sounded more like a "I getting hacked up by Jason/Freddy/Chucky/Leatherface, Oh dear God help me!!!" scream than a "I'm in legitimate pain" scream.
