I didn't make a big deal, like I had any pull with the owner. I just thought it was a cool place to see and was glad and humbled to be able to get in the door. I don't have any illusions that I was invited to a private party with hef and the usual celebs-it's just cool spot that has a lot of history.
But thanks for making it clear that you think I'm not "in" enough to understand the difference between being on the grounds and spending a Sunday eve watching flicks and eating popcorn.
