All language is pretty basic, it's the emphasis & situation in which it's used that puts some elegance in it.

Personally, as low it may be, I'd use the word "nigger" as a racial slur just to make them swing. Ya know, a reason to fight? Otherwise, I don't bother. Like you said, it's low, but so is fighting over something so stupid, they go hand in hand.
