Here is the rundown on the show. Dead Icon opened the show and they sucked. They had 2 singers and both were horrible. Only good thing about them was their drummer.
Next was First Blood and they were ok. More along a Hatebreedish type band. Nothing really stood out but it was a vast improvement over the first band,
Exodus was next. The reason I actually went. Exodus slayed, period. Its good to see bands that actually know how to play their instruments. My only complaint was their set was to short. With 6 bands on the bill, some sets had to be cut short. Nothing like good old Bay Area thrash.
Napalm Death was next. That was the other band I really wanted to see, having seen them many times. What can be said about Napalm? Grindcore legends and they showed those teenage kids how its really done. Pit was vicious as always. Good set, I only wish they played "Mass Appeal Madness".
Black Dahlia Murder was next. Im not familiar with them, but they surprised me. They played what I can describe as thrash with an influence of metalcore. They were good. Only thing holding them back is their singer. Either sing death metal or metalcore, pick one.
Hatebreed closed out the show. It was an in tense show as I saw at least 15 people kicked out for fighting. Bouncers were earning their money that night. H.O.B was packed to capacity. They were intense and one of the better Hatebreed shows I've seen.
The funny thing was a ADT fanboy stopped Gia and said to her " Whats with you pornchicks, first Naiomi and now you. Your losing your ass. Here have a fishstick. Your too skinny."
