I think that's entirely dependent on what, exactly, you are attempting to market. The internet is absolutely filled with individuals in the 22+ age bracket who have made decent livings catering to specific kinks and fetishes. If all you've got to market is the basic in-and-out formula and you aren't a hot teenybopper, then I can only say you aren't really that good at marketing.

And in the end, I think that's what seperates the successful porn stars from the 2-3 year burnouts. Those who understand marketing and those who don't. 99%+ of the stars in this industry (male and female alike) are just "performers." Performers work for others....not themselves.
