yes, the current barometer for obscene and not obscene is that infamous quote/wisecrack some judge made back in the 50's or whenever. to paraphrase: "obscenity,I know it when I see it." and it's an absolutely absurd,too easily slanted, totally subjective perspective. Who shall be the arbiter of the LAWful (right) definition when everyone is totally unique? There's the central problem, but another core problem is you can't turn off sympathetic squares by trying to justify a dog fuck flick. Not only is that something patheticly gross, but where porn can be somewhat reasonably passed off as lowbrow pop art, extreme entertainment or fantasy material for the practition of safe sex but bestiality is repugnant and only true deviants would honestly disagree. C'mon, fuckos, be let's reasonable... There has to be some kind line drawn in the sand because not every act sexual act legal or foul has any validity beyond obscenity. We do not live in an anarchy. Kiddie porn is thankfully and rightfully illegal. Simply put: some things are just plain too vile to defend and don't mistakingly lump it into the same category as the good hardcore porn that I love.
