I was in third grade when I first learned about the planets. I memorized their order from the sun and their names. My teacher then told us about their moons. "Saturn has more than 60 moons" she said. "And Jupiter has a moon made up purely of water ice."
Today I bought a telescope. It comes with a star chart so you know what time of the year to point your telescope in a particular direction. Today I saw Mars. It looks unreal- it's just a red ball. Blood red. And it's hanging there, in space. Attached to a giant string that goes up to ceiling of the universe.
