I actually think this is true in most cases, and Burg slightly misinterpreted my original point. Excuses and blame are irrelevant, no-one needs an excuse to fuck up their own life anyway. My point is simply that girls with low self esteem generally refuse to hook up with men who would value them and try to help them feel better about themselves. Instead they gravitate towards those who will use them and lead them into further self-destructive behavior. Then they whine and whine about their poor little selves. And those of us who have been burned before get fed up with hearing it.
