VietNamNet Bridge – Just two weeks after a Vietnamese woman was murdered in Japan, the Mainichi Daily reported that another 20-year-old Vietnamese man was beaten to death on August 13 in his apartment.

According to police, the victim died from serious injuries to his chest sustained during an attack in his apartment in Matsudo City, Chiba, at around 9.30am, August 13.

Police are investigating further, but understand the victim had been drinking with four other people, including another Vietnamese friend in his apartment prior to the incident.

The victim quarrelled with one of the four people and was later found dead. The name of the suspect has not been disclosed.

Previously, Police in Otawa Township, Aichi, Japan, discovered the body of a Vietnamese woman on July 29. The women had died from wounds to her head and abdomen. She was identified as Le Thi Ly, 24, from Trieu Son District, Thanh Hoa Province.

She had been working for an automobile manufacturer in Aichi since 2001. Information from police states that Ly was seen around noon on July 28 accompanied by an unknown individual.
