hah, papa roach was always a trend following band that never really caught on. i remember when papa roach were first big, like 2000 or so: "cut my life into pieces, this is my last resort". all my friends were singing that shit, enjoying the fact that they were using lyrics from a song about suicide. then there was their other single, where the guy swings his bass around his head then keeps playing, my friends loved that shit and were all doing it with their own guitars, smacking each other in the head, bleeding, crying, "cut my life into pieces"-ing.
