The sports evolved since you last watched it and Im guessing around UFC 10 or so. Its only going to get better since its still a new sport.
I agree with boxing thou. I really havent paid much attention to it since Barrera-Morales. I only watch the high profile fights now. My gripe with it there isnt any good heavyweights.

There's no Haglers, Hearns, Leonards, Tysons, Holmes etc.
Top quality guys that would fight each other. Champions now dodge each other and top contenders.
