Overrated teams
USC weakness: They lost 3 big time skill players and 3-4 OL guys. Untested QB and RB.
Strength: Solid Defense. Pete will find ways to get the ball to Jarret and Smith.
Texas weakness: No experience at QB. RB has the yips and your other RB is a coke head.
strength: Soft schedule. They play in a weak Big 12 which just got weaker.
Miami weakness: NEVER should have joined the ACC. Kyle Wright is still suspect. Also lost top RB and WR for the first couple of games.
strength: Tough Defense. Very hard to beat at home. Va Tech and FSU at home.
scUM weakness: Henne can't win the big game. #1 RB is injury prone. No speed on defense
strength: Two solid RB's. The big ten will be down this year. Only team they should worry about are my Bucks.

Underrated teams
California
weakness: small defense that is always on the field because of the quick strike Offense.
strength: Should contend for the Pac 10 title. RB Lynch is the truth. Top 5 RB in the NCAA. Great passing Offense. Hard to cover the 4-5 wide sets.
Oregon
weakness: Defense is young and they lost their best player to the NFL.
strength: 2 headed QB monster to change the flow of the game on Offense. Should give teams in the Pac 10 fits. Alls this team does is win.
Clemson
weakness: Lost their top QB to the draft. Very hard schedule
strength: Awesome running game that should help open up the Offense. They will upset some teams in the ACC this year. Bowden Jr has to win.
Louisville
weakness: No gamers on Defense spells trouble.
strength: Bush is a man among boys. This guy is like Craig "Iron Head" Hayward with speed. Hard to stop spread Offense will destroy teams in the Big East

Real Deals
Ohio State Buckeyes weakness: Very young Defense..could take a couple of games to work everything out. They play Texas in the second game of the season in Austin.
strength: All world Offense with impact players like Troy Smith, Tedd Ginn, Antonio Pittman and Chris Wells. Penn State and scUM at home this year. BCS birth
Notre Dame weakness: Defense is young and slow. Only one key player on the D and teams will game plan for him.
strength: Top Offense in College Football and Quinn should win the Heisman this year. Jeff Samardzija is a best. Top 10 RB in the NCAA. Unlimited amount of weapons on Offense. BCS birth
Florida weakness: QB, as Leak goes so do the Gators go. Not a good decision maker
strength: Read above. As Leak goes so do the Gators. Tricky Offense hard to defend. BCS birth.
West Virginia weakness: Defense will be on the field a lot because the Offense is tits! The D will start to wear down. Check last years Sugar Bowl against Georgia
strength: Pat White is amazing and he's just a second year started. He'll be more comfortable in the Offense this year. Look out Big East! BCS birth.

South Carolina - Sidney Rice is one of the best WR's in College
Rutgers - Brian Leonard is RB not a FB. Fuck what the team guide says
Arizona State - Pass happy Offense in the Pac 10.
Georgia Tech -"Ball goes deep to Johnson.....Touch Down!"

Tune in next Saturday to watch Penn State bitch slap Touchdown Jesus and his disciples. At halftime, the offensive genius who coaches ND will put an entire deep fried turkey into his mouth while the little leprechaun tosses his salad.

I'm gonna give you a semi-absolution because you are from St. Louis, and I was born in Webster Groves, and you are probably a Cards and Billikens fan, but you know that JoePa will shit harder than TMFR in a makeup chair when he sees the spectacle of Our Lady Football. Remember, G-d roots for Catholics, and Irish people, and Our Lady is steeped in both. No doubt Big Calm will join in your bashing, so I will set aside time for both of you during the oratio universalis tomorrow at Brophy.

I got ND vs OSU on Tivo under don't delete.
Joe Pa, Morelli, Paulie Walnuts, Tony, Christopher, AJ and the rest of the Sopranos are going down when they step into the Horse Shoe this year.
The Troy Smith man crush is spreading through the NCAA. I think he and Brady will both have seats at the DAC this year

Cardinals fan yes but don't give a crap about the Billikens. You sound like just another ND subway alum who didn't even attend ND and probably can't find South Bend on a map. I went to grad school at Penn State and am a real fan, not a subway rider.

This will be my first college football season with HDTV, and so far...WOW!!
If you haven't made the leap yet, it's so worth it.
Especially like the crowd shots where the multitude of fans, wearing the colors of the teams involved, are individually distinct in their beer-induced frenzy.
That said, why don't the various Fox Sports networks have HD? Cost shouldn't be an issue, what with Rupert Murdoch in charge...
