I get carsick if I even try to read directions too closely in the car, so I just had to stare out the window or fight with my brother who was always "on my side of the car". Coming from parents who rarely let me watch TV and gave me books instead of dolls for my birthday, I can understand why on long trips one would want a DVD player in the car. But not on day-to-day errands. Kids watch waaay too much TV these days, it's sickening.
