There is a problem with the FCC. They recently attempted to gain control of cable and satellite broadcasts in an effort to
expand the agenda of the hard-core christian special interest groups that have an ear in Washington.

Luckily for all Americans the FCC's power grab was rebuked by a congressional subcommitee that denied their request for
open hearings.

Nothing is more fundamental to democracy than the right of free speech. It's time that 'regular' people get involved to make
sure that our elected leaders know they are crossing the bounds and they will be held responsible.
