For that matter, why are vulgar comments used in the course of casual conversation with female co-workers considered a form of "sexual" harassment, whereas the same comments used in the company of male co-workers are dismissed as otherwise acceptable? Specifically, why are these things deemed "sexual" under the letter of the law, rather than simple harassment?
