Had the teacher not informed us prior that George was a woman, the relationship between Eppie and Silas would've given me nightmares and flashback traumas. But really I don't read that much. Descriptive passages are beyond me. I get frustrated when rooms or landscapes are described. Or when Wolfe describes clothing in minute detail. I cannot picture that sort of thing in my mind. And all the voices of the characters sound like the computer from '2001' in my head. If I read at all it is interior monologue ranting by an unreliable first person narrator like in 'Lolita'. That I can grasp. _________________________ Quah.

Bad_Bad Bukkake Boy Registered: 01/26/06 Posts: 624	Victor Hugo's The Hunchback Of Notre Dame is kind of a twisted story with lots of plot twists, but he starts out describing the differences between Paris during the story and Paris when Victor Hugo wrote the book, it killed it for me. I liked the Phantom Of The Opera book, the Opera Ghost is a much more interesting, considerably less gay, character in the book. Frankenstein is a better movie than a book, the book is jam packed full of moral dilemmas and lessons that people need to learn, kind of sanctimonious. _________________________ The only thing I have to look forward to is a terminal illness.
