Mel is a close personal friend of mine and he asks that we all show some restraint with our judgement of him during this difficult time. Mel feels he was unjustly profiled as a practicing Catholic by the Jewish law enforcement of California. Once Mel's side of the story comes out I think you will all find that he is a man of deep religious faith and conviction(not that kind of conviction you heathens). He is innocent of this crime and asks that we all take a sip of the sacramental wine.
