It's extremely exciting to let you all know that AVN has hired me as an event photographer. I'll be covering parties, award shows, and other adult industry fuctions. Photography has meant everything to me since I was 17, so I'm very flattered that AVN, a respected publication and website, has let me take this from a passion to a profession.
Thanks to AVN and thanks to everyone for all their support, but mostly thanks to all of you who have taken the time to let me photograph you. See you out there in pornoland soon.

Aw...you guys! Thanks for all the congrats. Just so you know, my industry fuctions and event photos are now property of AVN, so you'll have to check them out there since I won't be posting them here on xpt any more. Please don't think I'm leaving you guys. I'm here and still the same ol' g.

Second: See if you can photograph one of Ramones little weekend events. You know, the events he and his ilk alternate holding in each others basements where some of the guys wear leather and the other guys wear baby diapers and somebody gets hurt.

You mean don't end up known as one of the most renown photographers ever and famous? That would be awful. 
It's the insanity I'm suggesting you avoid! In the last years of his life Winogrand had somebody drive him around Los Angeles every day. He'd take pictures from the car window, seemingly without even bothering to look at what he was shooting. When he died they found nearly 20,000 rolls of undeveloped film in his apartment...

Congratulations Gia, I hope this works out well for you. Quick side note: We reserve the right to go Monkey Style on any/all pictures you take. I doubt this will happen as you are more familiar with the "focus" & "lighting" concept than Luke is, but if something pops up, we're on it.

Obviously, this throws an unexpected wrench into my pornography exit plan, as the Irons' (and similar) productions would seem no longer necessary or perhaps even desirable for you to participate in to ensure that there are sufficient Cocoa Crispies in the cupboard (or whatever sustains you). None the less, best of luck. I will work out my issues some other way.
