Quote: Do you think it's alright for a cowboy to eat pasta? If he did, would he still be a cowboy? And be honest, because I know some people who'd just say anything to make me happy.
I read 'Herzog on Herzog' not long ago and in one of the interviews Werner talks about how he began to pick apart genre rules and that one of the things he noticed is that under no circumstances are cowboys in Westerns to be shown eating noodles. It has got to be beans. I won't quote oir comment on the drawing in your reply because I think it is disgusting and makes me fear for your humanity. Must all artistic types fall into this cliche notion that they by virtue of their genius must transcend conventional morality as some sort of artistic imperative? I ask you think about this. And when you are thinking about that, think about this: your cavelier tossing about of these drawings in this thread may have lead one of the lesser mortals here to feel his shameful urges now have legitimacy and advocacy and that a young girl may have been brutally sexually assaulted by a trusted adult in their lives as a direct result. :drunkly:
