If we are speaking in theoretics, sure it's possible that Sylvia could knock out Fedor. Almost anyone can beat their opponent on any given day. But to suggest that Tim Sylvia is in any way a better fighter than Fedor is ridiculous.

Exactly what part of Fedor's dominance are you unimpressed with? Is his 23-1 record not enough? How about the fact that his only loss came almost six years ago to Tsuyoshi Kohsaka as a result of a cut, 17 seconds into the fight. By the way, he did defeat Kohsaka at PRIDE-Bushido 6 last year, avenging that sole blemish on his record.

Maybe his wins over guys like Cro Cop, Nog, Coleman, Fujita and Randleman should be an indicator as to his level of talent.

The guys that Arlovski and Sylvia have beaten on their way to UFC heavyweight elite status? Buentello, Eilers, Sims, Block and Gan McGee. Needless to say, the discrepancy between talent of those guys versus the guys Fedor has beaten is quite significant.
