Pegging is a term coined by Dan Savage, whose sex advice column I read almost religiously. He also came up with the word santorum to describe the frothy mixture of lube and fecal matter (often the by product of anal sex). It was inspired by republican senator Rick Santorum. No one probably cares, I'm just impressed that his slang caught on so well.
