Somebody explain this to me. I don't understand it. Plastic surgery outside treating burn victims or deformities is barbaric and exactly the sort of pistohubris that Mary Shelly found so deeply unsettling in her absintheistic orgy nightmares. I remember when Barbara Hershey got her lips inflated. I think it was around the time she played Mary Magdalene for Scorsese. A very good actress with clearly some insight into the human condition. Her career fizzled maybe not as a result but certainly a filament of connection is there. I just do not understand what leads to this. Is it just "going blonde" extrapolated? It is monstrous.
