Well, instead of worrying about what the board will think, why don't you flesh out this concept a little more and show just how you parallel modern western society and nazi Germany? That might help, unless you're just going for the cheap gut-shot, in which case I'd say you hit your mark.
I didn't really have a concept like that. It was an immediate association when I saw that woman's physical condition, and something about her smiling. That's it. But I do care what the board thinks. The fallout of that Aurora Snow/9-11 thing made me take stock a little bit. Unlike Da Burger I don't whether derision well. I crave acceptance, even the dankest of places.

No, that is from a Woody Allen movie called 'Crimes and Misdemeanors'. Woody put that line in the mouth of a buffoon, a TV producer that his authorial presence views with contempt through the vast majority of the movie.
